The Partners of Bogoroch & Associates LLP are delighted to announce that Toby Samson has been admitted to the Partnership.
Toby began her career with Bogoroch & Associates LLP in 2015 as an Articling Student and then became an Associate in 2016. Since then, Toby has proven herself as an outstanding advocate whose practice focuses on medical malpractice litigation on behalf of plaintiffs.
As an articling student she assisted on the Surujdeo v Melady (2017 ONCA 41) jury trail and as an associate was co-counsel on such noteworthy cases as Stirrett v Cheema (2018 ONSC 2595 and 2020 ONCA 288) and Boutcher v Cha (2020 ONSC 7464). She has also served as lead trial counsel on two other medical malpractice trials.
Toby has been published in the Annual Review of Civil Litigation and has been a guest speaker for the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association’s medical malpractice section, the Ontario Bar Association’s Health Law Program, and the Canadian Pharmacists Association.
Toby’s admission to the Partnership is in recognition of her excellence as a lawyer, her superb abilities as a trial lawyer and significant contribution to our Firm’s growth and development.
